Bhelupur dacoity case: Court orders attachment of main accused Guruji's properties

 Varanasi: In the case of robbery of Rs 1.40 crore in Bhelupur police station area, the court has ordered to announce the attachment by pasting the attachment notice at the house of the main accused Ajit Mishra.  This order was given by the Court of Civil Judge (Ju.D.) / FTC I after hearing the application filed by the police.  In the application given in the court, on behalf of the investigator, it was said that the court had issued a non-bailable warrant about a month ago against Ajit Mishra, a resident of Tilmapur, Sarnath, the main accused involved in the Bhelupur dacoity case.  After which Jagdish Kumar Patel is wanted.  Police raided his residence and other possible places, but he is absconding and his whereabouts are not known.  Along with this, it was also said that he is trying to increase the removal of his properties.  In such a situation, an appeal was made to the court for permission to proceed against him under section 82 (attachment).  Hearing the prayer letter of the police, the court ordered attachment against the accused Ajit Mishra.

 Tell the matter that on May 29, 2023, an employee of a company was robbed of Rs 1.40 crore in Baijnatha area under Bhelpur police station.  Two days after this incident, the police recovered Rs 92.94 lakh from a car in Baijanatha area under Bhelupur police station.  In this case, a case was registered against 12 people including Ajit Mishra, Sachchidanand Rai alias Mantu at Bhelpur police station.  The police had dismissed 7 policemen after finding criminal involvement in the matter.  At the same time, even after more than a month of the incident, the main accused Ajit Mishra is away from the grip of the police, nor has the police been able to trace the missing Rs 47 lakh till now.
